The speed endurance running camp will be offered to children from ages 7-16 years and will be geared toward new and intermediate youth runners. Youth involved in other sports such as soccer, basketball, lacrosse and hockey looking to improve their aerobic fitness are also strongly encouraged to attend. The camp will involve age and ability appropriate speed for sprinters and middle distance running with each session supplemented with instruction in topics such as dynamic and static stretching, development of proper running form, cross training, race visualization, running safety and the importance of proper nutrition. Our goal is to create an informative and challenging running experience for each child while developing and building their confidence and aerobic capacity.
