Winter Soccer Clinics For Boys and Girls Of All Skill Levels
Winter soccer clinics are open to beginners who want to experience the joy of playing soccer while learning the basics, as well as experienced players looking to take their game to the next level by getting some extra training off-season.
Each player will be provided with a fun, safe and challenging learning environment through focused training sessions lead by experienced professional, collegiate coaches and players. In The Net’s winter soccer training will focus on player’s individual ball skills development through specific drills as well as help gain team tactical awareness and working as a team via small-sided games
Participants will be placed together first by age and then by ability in groups of a 12:1 player to coach ratio to allow the maximum learning environment for each player. The winter groups will break down as follows: 7-9 year olds, 10-12 year olds, 13+ year olds, & Specialty Clinics (High School players welcome).
An agility ladder will be used to improve individual footwork, strength, speed, balance, coordination and conditioning.
Soccer players (boys and girls) ages 7-9, 10-12 and 13+ (including High School players) will be placed together by ability in the specified age groups. A 12:1 player to coach ratio to allow the maximum learning environment for each player.
Futsal is a great skill-developer demanding quick reflexes, fast thinking, and pin-point passing. Played on a basketball-size court without walls and a special low bounce ball, which requires players to use their skills rather than the ball’s bounce to propel it.
A 7+ week session designed to teach the players (8 player minimum) on your team how to work together and function in a team environment. These clinics focus on technical ball skills to help master the ball as well as tactical decision making.
Goal keeper clinics focus on the technical development of catching, punching, diving and breakaways. These clinics are coached by goal keeping professionals that have experience in the net and coaching successful goalies.
The hardest thing to do on a soccer field is score goals. No matter what position you play, we will make you a better goal-scorer! This program puts heavy emphasis on functional training for midfielders and strikers in the offensive third and is all about scoring goals.
This program will enhance players existing strengths and address their technical weaknesses in a low pressure environment while improving their overall confidence with the ball through repetition. Each youth player develops skills independently.
School Vacation Camps
This soccer camp will focus on player’s individual skills development through specific ball drills as well as help gain team tactical awareness via small-sided games. An agility ladder will be utilized increasing players’ speed, strength, balance and overall conditioning.
From the novice to experienced adult player, this educational and enjoyable soccer clinic will develop/improve ball skills, develop knowledge of positional play and provide the opportunity to put it all together through small / large games.
