Running & Strength Training For Girls & Boys Ages 7+

Welcome to In The Net Running winter clinics, specializing in training lead by experienced professionals, collegiate coaches and runners.

Our winter clinics goal is to provide boys and girls ages 7 and up, as well as adults, the best development program through positive, professional and organized coaching methods. ITNR winter programs concentrate on all the different techniques needed in order to be successful and help achieve your individual goals.

Endurance Running

This clinic is for boys and girls in three specific age categories: ages 7-10, 11-12, and 13-17 years (including high school athletes). Athletes will be grouped together by ability within their specified age groups.

Fun To Run Kids

This basic program is designed for beginning runners (ages 7-17) with no previous running experience. The goal of the program is to gradually transition children from a sedentary lifestyle to a more active lifestyle with the introduction of running.

Speed/Strength Running

The speed & strength running clinic will be offered to children from ages 7-17 years and will be geared toward new and intermediate youth runners. Youth involved in other sports looking to improve their aerobic fitness are also strongly encouraged to attend.

Adult Coached Track Workouts

This program is designed for beginning runners with no previous running experience, previous runners returning to the sport after a layoff, and runners coming back from injuries. The program goal will be to build up to 30 total running minutes in a run/walk workout.

School Vacation Camps

The clinic will involve age and ability appropriate distance running with each session supplemented with instruction in topics such as dynamic and static stretching, development of proper running form, cross training, race visualization, running safety and the importance of proper nutrition.
